Worship at Second Congregational Church in Newcastle on November 21, 2021

WORSHIP ON NOVEMBER 21, 2021 ─ OUTREACH & THANKSGIVING SUNDAY: Our service this Sunday was brought to us by our Deacons and members of our Service and Spirit Teams. Linda Blomquist, Kristin Brown, Judy Jones and Lonnie Andersen led various parts of our worship. Mary Bausch read our scripture passages: Deuteronomy 26: 1-11 & II Corinthians 8: 1-7. Louise Hardina, Bill Bausch, Lonnie Andersen and Barbara Wright filled us in on our Outreach involvement with local and global organizations ─ giving thanks for the good work of non-profits near and far, and for the blessings made possible by funds in our church’s Outreach budget and the John Andrews Fund. Music included our anthem “Look At The World” by John Rutter.

Pastor Char was participating in the Service of Farewell at First Church in Wiscasset as Rev. Joshua Fitterling concluded his call with their congregation. As a sister congregation of the Midcoast Association, let us keep Pastor Josh and First Church in Wiscasset in our prayers.
