Psalm 27

Luke 13: 31-35

February 21, 2016 by Rev. Allison Smith

On this second Sunday in Lent we are challenged to Plant Justice. The vast inequalities and huge challenges facing?us here and around the world often seem overwhelming and hopeless.?Sometimes our only choice is to grieve and lament?? but not be immobilized, not give in. For each of us in some way can plant justice, can “comfort the afflicted, and to afflict the comfortable.”

Listen as Heather Elowe reads scripture for this Sunday, followed by Rev. Allison Smith inviting us to “Plant Justice”. ?The audio file is hosted on Soundcloud?? please?share any comments or issues with our webmaster.

An anthem was sung prior to the sermon: “I Want Jesus to Walk With Me.” Heather Elowe, soloist.
